Fenris HQ

Rogue, confronted by the Fneris Twins, stands in the HQ of her captors. They've offered her the chance to control her powers, yet she dismisses it as bull. They say they will offer her proof before she joins them and then ask her to take her clothes off...

New York City

Wolverine and Storm break from their kiss. Wolverine tells her the time will never be right for them. As Storm protests against his decision, he catches Gambit's scent. He tells Storm to go home, before he jumps off the building to rescue Rogue.

Fenris HQ

Rogue is in a training facility, out of her civilian clothes and instead in a Fenris power suit. The Twins tell Gambit to attack Rogue, which he does, and Rogue blocks his attack before hitting him back. He tells her to touch him, but she protests. However, he forces her to, and upon contact, nothing happens. The Twins reveal that the suit dampens mutant powers, and, in return for them giving it to her, she can be Gambi's Marian to his Robin Hood.

Xavier Institute for Gifted Children

Back at the Mansion, Bobby is getting restless because he believes he should be out there trying to find Rogue. Kitty arrives, and tells the rest of the team that when Xavier and Jean find Rogue, they can all set off to find her. Bobby accuses her of being happy that Rogue is gone and that she tricked him into kissing her. Kitty tries to defend herself, but Bobby creates an iceslide and gets into the X-Wing. Dazzler tells Kitty that if they find Rogue in a ditch then Bobby will probably settle for her, getting the two into a fight. Scott enters the room and splits the two up, just as Colossus explains to Angel the time Wolverine and Cyclops nearly murdered each other.

Fenris HQ

Rogue decides to decline Fenris's offer, believing that the reason she has this curse is because she has down some awful things in the past. When she redeems for her sins, it will be lifted. The Twins try to force her to join - telling her that as hse has already used Fenris technology, she has to join. Gambit tries to defend Rogue, but the Twins defeat him, asking Rogue is she would like to join them now?

The Astral Plane

Xavier and Jean Grey are walking on the Astral Plane - each in different outfits (Jean is in a 3rd Grade Halloween outfit - note 616 Marvel -, and Xavier has hair). As they start to scan New York, a mysterious voice tells Jean to look on 350th Avenue, the Empire State Building. Jeans thinks Xavier is said it, but he is surprised when Rogue turns up there. They realise they have to assemble the X-Men as soon as possible - one of the mutants is severely injured.

Fenris HQ

Rogue tries to attack the Fenris Twins, but, due to her suit, is incapable of doing so. However, Gambit comes round, firing a card at Rogue, ruining the suit. She knocks the Twins unconscious and they get the elevator down to the ground floor. Waiting for them are guards, which they manage to defeat, but, ahead lies the greatest challenge... Wolverine...
