Rogue awakens after being kidnapped by Gambit. He wants to play a little war...

Coney Island

Wolverine regains conciousness after having half his face ripped off by Gambit during the fight at the fair. As he goes to find Rogue, Iceman tries to follow. As Colossus stops him, an argument starts between the two, and Storm is forced to stop them by creating a bolt of lightning. She tells them that she'll go after Wolverine, while the rest of the X-Men go back to the Institute to get orders from Xavier.

Undisclosed Location

As Gambit promises not to hurt Rogue, she tries to make him take off her handcuffs. He's been briefed on her power, however, and asks for her forgiveness. She asks if he can tell her something, before she kisses him to try and knock him out. From impact, Rogue starts to absorb his powers and memories... He pushes her away, but she charges up the handcuffs with Gambit's power, knocking him unconscious. As she goes to leave the room, she is stopped by armed guards...

Xavier Institute for Gifted Children

At the Mansion, Xavier has had no luck in finding Rogue's loaction suing Cerebro. Scott realises that Gambit was clued up on the X-Men and must have been given information somehow. Jean and Xavier decide to combine their telepathy to find Rogue, before asking the rest of the X-Men to leave.

Undisclosed Location

Rogue, with Gambit's accent and powers fights against her captors, but as she goes to leave the building through a broken window she realises something - she's 1000 feet above New York City...

Behind her, The Von Strucker Twins have arrived. They tell Rogue that they sent Gambit to find her. They want Rogue to be a spy, and they offer her something in return... the ability to control her powers...

New York City

As Wolverine sits above New York, trying to catch Rogue or Gambit's scent, Storm arrives. She creates a wind, which does nothing. He tells Storm that Rogue is the closest thing to a sister that he's got. As Storm tries to calm Wolverine down, the atmosphere runs high, and the two kiss...
