Three vans are parked across the street from Peter Parker’s house, also known as Spiderman. Wolverine hides out in the house, a victim of gunshot wounds from a previous encounter with those same vans earlier that week.

Inside on of the vans, a mysterious woman named Tara receives confirmation that Wolverine is in the house. Her men wait for her orders.

Back in the house, Wolverine asks Peter to help him escape. Peter is shocked when Wolverine stabs his own heart in order to stop the vans from tracking him. After knocking over one of the vans and thus causing confusion amongst the troops in the vans, Peter swings away with Wolverine.

Logan has Peter take him to the diner where he was shot earlier in the week. He confronts the diner owner, and finds out that the people after him are posing as FBI agents, and have labeled Wolverine as a mutant terrorist. Logan deduces that they are tracking him by using his Weapon X file.

Spider-Man and Wolverine stop by the apartment of Natasha, the Black Widow and member of the Ultimates. Logan and Natasha have a romantic history, and he hopes that she or her superior, Nick Fury, can help him out. Natasha knows nothing, and after explaining as much, kicks Peter and Logan out of her apartment.

Up on a nearby rooftop, Spider-Man explains that he can help Wolverine out with his “spider sense.” Seconds later, Wolverine is hit by a missile straight in the stomach; the missile drives Logan across the sky. Spider-Man is helpless as he witnesses the missile explode, apparently still lodged in Wolverine’s stomach….
