The North Pole: Magneto prepares for the elimination of mankind. Addressing his followers telling them that by midnight they will be all that is left of earth’s population. Walking down the stairs he checks on the project keeping two of every animal, even humans alive. Magneto however still wishes that he could help the captured mutants, his children, and Moira Mactaggart’s sickly youths. Proceeding through his citadel, Magneto meets up with Forge who is having concerns about his machine being used to kill every living thing on earth. Magneto intimidates him into eliminating his concerns.

In the Citadel’s infirmary two doctors check up on the unidentified mutant that was found in the Savage Land. When one of them recognizes the traitor an optic blast hits them both, and Cyclops proceeds to blast the other doctors who attack him. Picking up one of the doctors, he forces him to lead Cyclops to Magneto. Later, Magneto steps into Forge’s invention and begins to cause chaos all across the world. At Camp X-Factor, Guantanamo Bay, a wall is blasted apart as a Brotherhood team rescues all the mutants behind held there by S.H.I.E.L.D., including Xavier and Nightcrawler. Back at the Citadel, Magneto is hit by an optic blast. Shocked at how brainwashed Cyclops is to attack by himself, Magneto discovers that Cyclops didn’t come alone.

Slamming the Blackbird into the Citadel, the X-Men spring into action. Storm attacks Magneto while the rest of the X-Men take care of his followers. Charging forward at Sabertooth, Wolverine slices his head off. “Enough” yells Magneto catching the X-Men in a whirlwind of metal. Walking up to his machine, Magneto is fully aware of Shadowcat’s sabotage and that his machine is only capable off one last act. Magneto decides to destabilize a Nuclear reactor a lot north of Miami. “Whatever happens now,” says Magneto, “The east coast of America has just been given her death sentence.”
