Scotland, 8 years ago.

The former residence of Charles Xavier, who is walking to the car, luggage in hand, with his colleague Erik Lensherr. Realizing his son doesn’t love him and his ex-wife, Moria MacTaggert is distant, they drive off leaving his family behind.

San Antonio, 7 years ago.

A young mutant named Ricky, who is a living nuclear bomb is about to be executed by a group of rednecks. Erik uses his magnetic powers to save the boy’s life and Charles uses his telepathy to send the men home to their wives. They offer Ricky a place to call home, a sanctuary.

San Francisco, 6 years ago.

The Brotherhood of Mutants is founded, a safe haven for mutants to learn about their powers. After some time, the protesters grow on the pair’s nerves and they decide to move elsewhere.

The Savage Land, 5 years ago.

Erik brings Xavier to the location of the new mutant sanctuary, a large tropical island seven hundred miles off the coast of Australia. Xavier feels like they are running from the problem but Erik urges that it’s the base of a new kind of man. Erik has plans to make a new world; one in which mutants rule but Xavier is none the wiser and they start to build a new utopia.

Four years later, when the compound and community are set up, Erik is now Magneto, and running a small militant group which includes Ricky, the Detonator. Five months later, Magneto and Xavier bicker over who is right and wrong, building an army or teaching the world to live together, Magneto is enraged and strikes out verbally while Xavier stays calm.

Thee months ago, Xavier and a small group of mutants make an escape, leaving Magneto’s two children, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch to find him on the floor of his study. Not wanting to kill Xavier for attacking him and turning his back on his plans, he wants him to always remember his choice, by driving a metal spike through Xavier’s back. Leaving Xavier paralyzed, Magneto sets up an army. Detonator soon attacks the Pentagon as a warning to humans.

Tonight, Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants find a new home, a parliament for the future of mutants, The Arctic Circle. He is Magneto, and no one, especially Xavier will stand in his way.
