Underground, Reed, Ben, and Johnny are surrounded by hundreds of ani-men. Molekevic arrives with Sue, who runs to the three men for a reunion. Sue explains that Molekevic kidnapped her, and plans to use the four young people for his revenge against Dr. Storm for firing him all those years ago. When Reed tries to simply talk to Molekevic, he dismisses the four and walks away. The ani-men close in and attack.

The fight brings down Molekevic’s underground layer, and Molekevic is lost in the collapse. Sue uses her powers to create an invisible force field-like bubble that safely brings her, Ben, Reed, and Johnny to the surface.

Back at the Baxter Building, Reed and Sue agree to start a romantic relationship. However, Reed’s first priority is to find Victor Van Damme.
