Reed stands in Denmark, confronting Victor for the first time since the accident that transformed them. Victor lunges towards him, but Reed is able to use his stretching powers to dodge him and slam Victor to the ground. Reed demands the codes Victor used that caused their life-changing accident; he replies that he will never give Reed the codes. On Reed’s cue, Johnny sets Victor ablaze; as the fire dies down, Sue encloses Van Damme’s head in an invisible bubble, cutting off his air supply. As he comes close to breaking out of it, Victor is smashed into the ground by the sudden appearance of Ben.
Desperately, Victor activates the tattoos he has imprinted on the people living in his squatter community. He effectively has control of them now, and orders them to kill Reed, Johnny, Sue, and Ben. As the four try to defend themselves from the people without actually physically hurting them, the U.S. government shows up.
As the government prepares to take Van Damme into custody, the Danish army shows up, and informs the US that Vam Damme is a legal citizen of Denmark, and is legally entitled to stay there. As Reed and the others leave disappointed, he disrupts the control Victor has over The Keep’s residents. He may be safe from the US, but now he has hundreds of angry young people to contend with. Van Damme begins ranting about never giving Reed the codes, and Reed lashes out, throwing one of Van Damme’s own arm spikes towards him. It leaves a cut on Victor’s face that doesn’t heal. Reed steps aboard a plane, promising a defeated Victor that he’ll see him again….
