While testing out his new suit while sixty feet tall, Hank Pym and Jan Pym discuss the thought of being superheroes.
While General Nick Fury and Tony Stark discuss the future, Dr. Hank Banner and a few heavily armed army personnel watch as Steve Rogers wakes from being thawed from a block of ice for 57 years. Rogers hasn’t aged a day since he became Captain America in 1942. Banner and Fury try to talk sense, but Rogers attacks, dodging bullets and taking down Fury before jumping out a window, Hank enlarges and pins Rogers with his hand.
Some time later, Fury and Rogers go to reunite Rogers with his old friend Bucky, who is old and dieing of cancer. After a tearful reunion, Rogers asks about his old girlfriend Gail, Bucky’s now wife, and she refuses to come downstairs to see him because she’s embarrassed bout her old age. Fury then takes Rogers to the cemetery where his entire family is buried.
At the premier and gala for the completion of the Triskelion, the newest member of the team is unveiled, Steve Rogers, a shining tribute to America, Captain America.
