Overlooking a damaged Chelsea Piers in New York, General Nick Fury and Dr. Bruce Banner discuss Banner’s rampage and subsequent fight with Spider-Man as the Hulk over lunch. Fury tells Banner that the U.S. government is interested in including Banner and his ‘Super Soldier’ program to create a super-human team, to which Banner agrees but only after being demoted to number two.

In Pittsburgh, the Super Soldier research facility is in the process of moving to New York. Jan Pym is surprised to see two and a half million ants moving boxes. Her husband, Hank Pym, a scientist interested in size manipulation, has created a helmet to control the ants. Jan shrinks down while they discuss their new plans to work for the government with Banner.

Tony Stark, the rich, alcoholic, and flirtatious playboy genius is testing out his latest ‘Iron Man’ body armor by flying around Manhattan. Nick Fury meets him and they discuss Tony joining the team. Tony is more then ready to save the world as just spending money gets boring.

Upon entering their unfinished headquarters, the Triskelion, Banner is greeted my Jan and they head deeper into the complex while talking of Banner’s past relationship with Betty Ross.

Hank is getting set to enlarge in size as his latest project. Everything goes fine until all the lights explode. Jan runs into the testing area to find a gigantic Hank smiling down at her.

Feeling a little more then jealous, Banner heads off to his room where he receives a phone call from Fury, they’ve located the frozen body of Captain America.
