Peter wakes up to find himself and the X-Men shackled to the walls of a plane. When his captors notice he’s awake, they zap him again to knock him out. The man in charge of the cyborg group is told the plane is over the drop-off point. He tells his crew to wake up the mutants and throw them out of the plane. Spider-Man finds himself falling head first toward an island.

Spider-Man frantically makes himself a net out of webbing to break his fall; in the background we see various X-Men dropping from the plane as well. Spider-Man is safely down, but loses a boot. He has his arms cuffed behind him, and as he passes them under his legs to bring them out front, he’s attacked by one of the cyborgs. Through a combination of webs and punches, Spider-Man manages to elude his attacker and run – straight into Colossus, who breaks Spider-Man’s handcuffs. They take stock of where they might be. Both remember being attacked by other members of the X-Men, and conclude there’s a shapeshifter in the group.

At that moment they spot Cyclops being pummeled by several of the cyborgs, and charge to the rescue. They beat off the attackers. Cyclops suggests that they get all of the X-Men together. A snake-like cyborg pushes through the trees toward them and opens fire. He’s finally taken out by one of Ororo’s lightning bolts. She lifts the group up so they can see they’re on Krakoa Island, where the X-Men once closed down Mojo Adams and his reality TV show featuring the slaughter of mutants. A helicopter attacks them and they drop to the ground.

Kitty and Nightcrawler find them, closely followed by Rogue and Angel carrying Jean, who is unconscious. Kitty explains to Spider-Man about the X-Men’s previous adventure on Krako, just before Deadpool and the Reavers attack in force. Deadpool is telling everyone to smile, because they’re about to make television history.
