Ox, Montana, and 'Fancy Dan' Crenshaw, aka The Enforcers, make their way to a warehouse. Just as they do, they're confronted by Spider-Man, who emerges victorious from the ensuing battle. Spidey wants the Kingpin, and he's told of a way to get the his attention. But just as he's about to leave, the FBI burst through the warehouse. He manages to escape, only to later find out -through the newspapers- that he's been linked to the aforementioned trio of thugs.

Peter vows to do something about the organized crime wave in the city; and using the information given to him about getting the Kingpin's attention, he breaks into his office on the 34th floor of Fisk Towers. The cameras pick up on him, and just as he realizes this might not have been such a good idea afterall, the Kingpin's massive figure emerges from the shadows right behind him.
