One month ago: Three men climb down from a crane. The surrounding area contains the wreckage of a dock and a large ship. They meet with Jermaine Exum, who works for the Roxxon Corporation. Exum explains what happened. The ship had been bringing in supplies for Roxxon, but exploded as it docked. A huge man calling himself Omega Red strides out of the fire and threatens to tear the rest of the area to pieces. Before he can begin, however, a strand of webbing catches one of his tentacles and Spider-Man swings in, singing to the tune of Love Boat. The two trade verbal pot-shots as Omega Red grabs the webbing and throws Spider-man around. Using several strands of web, Spider-Man slingshots himself into Omega Red and knocks him across the street. Spider-Man then picks up a forklift and drops it on his opponent, ending the fight. The man in charge of the clean-up tells Exum that he'll need to clear the Roxxon employees out and check the area for possible toxins. As the conversation continues, we see a woman listening in on them. She's also talking to someone via a headset. Her employer, Mr. Roxxon, wants to know why Omega Red blew up the dock. He also wants the woman to arrange a meeting with Spider-Man for him. Two Weeks Ago: A man stands on a rooftop across the river from the Triskelion. He's waiting for Spider-Man to swing past, and he's also speaking to two of his colleagues in the Wild Pack, Powell and Silver. As Silver points out that they're supposed to be on radio silence, Spider-Man sails by, heading for Queens. A fourth member of the group, Quentino, follows him in a helicopter. Spider-Man suddenly drops down between two buildings and Quentino loses sight of him; a moment later, Peter Parker walks out of an alley behind the helicopter. One Week Ago: The helicopter is hovering over Midtown High School, where the group has finally tracked Spider-Man. The Wild Pack members debate whether he's a teacher or a student, until Chen finally spots Spider-Man on the roof. Chen says he's confirmed Spider-Man's secret identity, and the group moves in, zapping their target with a taser. A little while later, a figure is bound to a chair in a warehouse. The Wild Pack looks through their quarry's wallet. After running his name through their computer, they wake him up. It's Flash Thompson, and it doesn't take Silver Sable long to figure out that he's not Spider-Man.
