Spider-man is lying motionless on the roof of a police car in the street outside Hammerhead’s address. Elektra Nachios looks down at him, then turns to where Hammerhead is webbed to a wall. She cuts him free. He’s ready to leave the country so the police won’t catch him, but first he needs to get rid of witnesses. Since he’s out of bullets, he asks Elektra to kill his enemies for him. She responds by stabbing him and throwing him out a window so he won’t tell Fisk that she turned on him.

Below, Captain DeWolfe has arrived to find Spider-man recovering from his fall out the window. As Hammerhead begins his drop to the street below, Spider-man spins a web-cocoon that breaks his fall. In the apartment above, Elektra’s ready to run for it, but the Black Cat punches her in retaliation for attacking Spider-man. The two fight, and Elektra is about to kill Black Cat when she topples over. Moon Knight has thrown one of his knives into the back of Elektra’s head; then he too passes out. As DeWolfe prepares to send officers up to Hammerhead’s apartment, Elektra is thrown from the window above and crashes into a car roof. Black Cat is seen in the shadows of the window. She then cuts Shang-Chi and Danny Rand loose. Danny is about to choke her, but Shang-Chi intervenes. The three of them escape, leaving DeWolfe to pick up everyone else.

Later that night, the Black Cat tracks Spider-man down. He accuses her of letting her hatred override her judgment, and she agrees that it has. He turns to leave and she follows him, finally convincing him to let her peel off his mask. He waits for her to kiss him, but she’s frozen in shock. She never realized how young he really was, and finds herself nauseated by the fact that she’s been in love with a kid. She turns away and flees.

Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk is getting a report on the battle at Hammerhead’s place. The informant tells him that Hammerhead was attacked in his own home, and will walk away from any charges unless some other evidence surfaces. Fisk replies that he’ll see what he can do to make evidence appear. The informant continues the report, mentioning Elektra’s betrayal and injuries. The Moon Knight is still an unknown, and has no fingerprints on file. He could just be some guy in a costume, but he could also be ex-C.I.A. The one good think that came out of all this, Fisk comments, is that Spider-man trusts his informant now. The informant is revealed to be police captain Jean DeWolfe.

Peter finally returns home, only to be confronted by his aunt, who threatens to throw him out of the house the next time she has to talk to him about skipping school. She walks away, leaving Peter stunned behind her.
