At the end of the last issue, Spider-man and Black Cat had landed in the midst of a confrontation with Hammerhead, the Moon Knight, Elektra, Danny Rand, Shang-Chi, and some of the Enforcers. Hammerhead asks Elektra if she’s here on behalf of the Kingpin, which she is. He then offers her double what Wilson Fisk is paying her, plus a bonus of twenty thousand per head of anyone she kills for him tonight. Elektra hesitates, then agrees to join Hammerhead’s payroll. The Black Cat steps forward, introduces herself, and offers to join Hammerhead as well. After confirming her story with Elektra, Hammerhead accepts. As Spider-man complains that he needs to get some new friends, the battle erupts. The action is portrayed in little individual fights. Finally, Spider-man just starts webbing everyone to the walls, floor, ceiling, and other combatants. Once everyone has stopped moving, he borrows a phone from Montana Sterns’ pocket and calls the police. Hammerhead starts to threaten him, and Spider-man webs his mouth closed.

Spider-man asks for Captain DeWolfe, and the phone operator gushes about how he saved her brother from being mugged. She then puts his call through. While Spider-man waits, Shang-Chi reminds him that they fought together and asks to be set free. Spider-man refuses, planning to wait until the police arrive and can sort everything out. Moon Knight accuses Spider-man of interfering where he doesn’t belong, and he responds by making fun Moon Knight’s outfit. Finally DeWolfe answers the call and Spider-man explains the situation. He asks her to come down and arrest everyone, but is interrupted when Elektra throws a sai at him. She has cut herself free – as does Black Cat and Moon Knight, who have claws and a moon-shaped knife, respectively. Moon Knight and Elektra attack Spider-man, who flips out of their way and lands right in front of the gun Hammerhead is holding. He pulls the trigger, but the gun is empty.

Elektra grabs Moon Knight and stabs him through the chest. Spider-man jumps her and pulls her off as sirens begin wailing. Hammerhead gets hold of Moon Knight and pulls off his mask, taking a photo of Marc Spector’s face for future blackmail. Elektra gets the better of Spider-man and kicks him out a window; he crashes onto the roof of a car below.
