After a short battle with the Shocker, Peter returns to school. Overhearing that the Daily Bugle is paying big money for photographs of Spider-Man, Peter Parker decides to earn himself some cash by taking pictures of himself in action. Upon arriving at the Bugle, he manages to not only sell his pictures, but also becomes the company’s website designer when he fixes the website for Betty Brant. It also appears that Betty Brant is slightly older in the Ultimate Universe, and Ben Urich looks a lot younger than his original counterpart.

After Peter has a nightmare about Uncle Ben’s death, he sets out to find a way to avenge his Uncle. Using the Bugle’s database of news articles, he traces all of the crime in New York back to one man; Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin of Crime.
