There has been a major accident at Oscorp. Many have died and there seems to be only one survivor: Harry Osborn. Now there is speculation on whether Norman was in the explosion or not.
Spider-Man is now facing Crusher Hogan (once again!) and it is apparent that Crusher knows the outcome of this match. After everything is finished, Spider-Man goes to the manager’s office to collect his pay but is met with accusations of theft. All the wrestlers have him surrounded and demand for him to take his mask off, but Spidey just leaps away and takes off. As he swings around the city, Spider-Man decides to change back into his civilian clothes and take a walk. He is confronted by a man who has just robbed a deli. Peter just makes a wise crack to him and lets him run off while the deli owner gives him hell for it.
Upon Peter's return home he discovers that lately his grades have been slipping so Ben and May decide to give him another lecture. Peter doesn't take this very lightly and being the cocky person he is, storms off in search of a place to stay for the night. As Kong is sleeping away he hears a knock at the door and wakes up to find Peter at his doorstep looking for somewhere to sleep. With Peter joining the basketball team, Kong decides to help his new friend out.
Later in the night, Kong throws a party and is talking to Flash about Peter. Flash can't believe that Kong let him stay. Over on the couch, a drunken Liz Allen is flirting with Peter and he seems to be going for it until Mary Jane arrives at the party to see the two of them together. She runs out the door and Peter chases after her, only to run into Uncle Ben. He has come to talk to Peter about the way he has been acting lately and gives him the "Great Responsiblity" speech. Peter doesn’t like hearing this so he runs off with a worried Ben looking on.
As rain, thunder, and lightning hits, a dark, menacing figure is in an alleyway looking for some shards of clothes and all that is to be said from him is PPPRKKK!!! In the same storm, Peter is thinking about what was said and decides to return home. But upon his return he is met with sirens waiting at his front step.
