The start of this story takes place in the local wrestling arena where they are looking for challengers to oppose their champion, Crusher Hogan. Kong believes he has what it takes so he steps up to the plate, but alas, he is too young. When Flash jokingly tells Peter to "Go Get Im", Peter just comments on the lawsuit against his family. At home, Peter is trying on his new outfit for his match tonight, while Aunt May tells him about dinner.

At the arena again, Peter jumps in the ring without a word from anyone and begins to easily take down Crusher. He picks him up over his head and slams Crusher onto his face. Peter gloats to the manager for his easy win and grabs his money. Back at Peter's home, Ben is reading the paper when a envelope is slid under the door. It seems the school faculty decided to help Peter and his family with the lawsuit by donating money. This makes everyones eyes light up with joy. This was the money that Peter has won at the arena.

At school, everyone is discussing the events of last nights wrestling match while Peter and Mary Jane are discussing their homework. However, Peter's mind is floating off to everyone talking about the match. The coach comes up to Peter and offers him a opportunity to join the basketball team, so he agrees, only to tick Flash off for taking his spot. During Peter's first game, he dominates the opposite team to have a amazing lead of 88 points in the final seconds of the game.

In the hallway, Peter and Mary Jane are discussing the homework again but Mary Jane walks off in frustration. At the arena once again, Peter is dominating Crusher again and the crowd loves it. The announcer dubs him, The Amazing Spiderman. Afterwards, Peter is getting his pay and receives a new costume since the other one was a little dorky. He goes home to try it one and starts thinking of any changes he could make to it.

Over at Oscorp, Harry has just walked in on a experiment that Norman is trying on himself. They begin the experiment and all that is heard out of Norman is a frightening NNYAAGGHH!!!.......
