While Kraven is on his way to confront Spider-Man, Doctor Octopus calls out Justin Hammer at the press conference he'd set up, urging him to get out of his limo and show himself. But things turn violent when Hammer refuses to leave his car, and that's when Spider-Man intervenes. A battle between him and Doctor Ock ensues, both getting to strut their stuff, but eventually Spider-Man emerges victorious. Exhausted after having subdued Doctor Octopus, Spidey takes a moment to catch his breath, and at that precise moment Kraven arrives on the scene.
