The story starts off wilth Peter in class feeling weirded about the events of the night before. He begins to have these massive twitches, and with his new found Spider-like strength, cracks the desk into peices. He is laughed at by Flash Thompson and Kong while they don't even realize what is happening to Peter is more serious then breaking a desk. Cut to the school bathroom where Peter is thinking about what is happening to him. As he looks at himself in the mirror, he realizes that the spider gave him more the the ability to spaz out.

At Gym class Flash starts hitting on Mary Jane and grabs her, so Peter wacks him in the head with a basketball, much to the delight of Mary Jane that her hero has come and saved the day. But since this is high school, Flash takes it alot more seriously then Peter and proceeds to start a fight with him. As Flash swings for Peter, Peter catches him by the hand and unintentionally breaks it. At Harry's house later that evening, Kong proceeds to tell Harry about the events of today while Norman Osborn listens in. He tells Harry that he wants Peter to come to OsCorp and take a tour of the lab to make up for what happened.

Back at the Parker house, Ben and May are lecturing Peter about the fight that he was in at school and Peter lashes out at them for trying to defend himself. In the middle of the night he wakes up and decides its time to try his new powers, so he goes to a abandoned warehouse and finds his new stress reliever in life. In the morning Peter goes downstairs and apolagizes to Ben and May for yelling at them the night before and they welcome the apolagie like the caring people they are. The next day at OsCorp, Peter is introduced to Otto Octavius and is taking a tour, but Peter is unaware that there was a altereor motive for leading him there. Otto takes out a needle and takes a sample of Peters blood for testing, so Peter freaks out and runs off.

Later that night in the lab, Otto and Norman are talking about the results of the new experiments and realize that Peter is now healthier then ever. As Otto tells Norman that he would like to conduct some more tests he just bids the doctor a good night. The events after this are insane as Norman tells a board full of people that he would like to repeat the events that happend to Peter on himself, but instead of using the spiders DNA he will use his own.
