After Peter manages to avoid getting busted by Aunt May, we join him the next day in school with Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane. Gwen notices Peter's bruises, and her show of concern seems to bother MJ. Moments later, Kraven arrives at the school to try and track down Spider-Man by investigating the scene where he fought the Green Goblin.

Later, still bothered by the false accusations, Peter pays a visit to Justin Hammer to set things straight. And after he leaves, Hammer is contacted by Doctor Octopus, who sets up a meeting between the two. As Hammer heads off to meet Doctor Ock, Spidey tags along without him knowing. And when they finally get there, we find out that Doctor Ock has called up a press conference to expose Justin Hammer and his illegal genetic experiments.
