Sitting in class, Peter is givin a assignment, in one week he must come to school and be a superhero. The teacher tells the class that they can be a mutant if they want and a discussion erupts in the whole class. In a secret facility, 2 doctors are discussing there patient. The patient overhears them call him Doctor Octopus as he is managing to regain contiousness. The 2 doctors are stunned as they look at Otto Octavious in the bed with 4 mechanical arms, flailing around as if there out of control.

Back at school, Peter and MJ are takeing part in the school prep rally. They are talking with everyone about the assignment that was handed out earlier and it sems knowone wants to talk part in it. The topic of mutants come up and Liz tells a story about her Uncle and how he was in Washington the day of the Sentinal attacks. Kong speaks up and tells everyone a theory of his relating to Ghostbuster. Everyone just tells Kong that he is crazy until someone speaks up. This girls standing in the corner tells them all about her thoery about super powered beings and it leaves them all in shock. Her name is Gwen Stacy, and it's her first day.

Back at the secret facility, a man by the name of Henry Pym is telling Otto about what happened to him. Otto is asking all these questions and feels the mechanical arms on him. He starts to freak out and asks what they have done to him. At the pep rally, Peter and MJ are each trying to get the nerve to hold the other ones hands. Slowly but surely they do. At the facility, Dr.Pym is explaining to Otto what had happened to him, it seems that during the explosion at OsCorp, the arms had fused to Otto and they decided to leave them on him in order to find out the results. This upsets Otto greatly and he removes the bandages from his eyes. Finally able to see his doctors, Otto seems very upset from this discovery and decides to lash out against the men who have done this to him. Swinging his four arms around, he kills most of the staff except for Dr.Pym and demands to know where he is being held at.

At Kong's place, he is sitting alone and thinking the oddest things. After so much thought, Kong somehow managed to figure out the Peter Parker is Spider-Man.
