Powers: Marvel Girl is a telepath and telekinetic. She can enter and read the minds of others and project thoughts and illusions with her telepathy. She can also manipulate objects using her telekinesis. Her powers are undeveloped and have much room to improve and strengthen.

History: Jean Grey was a normal teen with a normal family, until her mutant abilities manifested, making her a powerful telepath. She was held in a mental institution for a time, presumably for observation and testing, as she was suffering from visions and terrors.

She was then contacted by Professor Charles Xavier and offered a place at his school, along with a chance to learn to control her powers and avert the coming war between humans and mutants. She is the second X-Man, after Cyclops, and has learned a great deal about her powers thanks to Xavier's teaching.

Jean developed a relationship with Wolverine, the newest X-Man, and is believed to have slept with him. Unbeknownst to her, Wolverine was secretly working for Magneto and his Brotherhood, and was plotting to kill Charles Xavier. Upon discovering this, she terminated her relationship with Wolverine.
