Powers: Wanda has the abilities to alter probability fields. Through complicated hand gestures and concentration, she creates hex-spheres. Inside these spheres, probabilities are altered, and strange and unlikely events become likely to happen.

History: Wanda Maximoff is the daughter of the genetic terrorist known as Magneto, and sister to the incredibly fast Quicksilver. The Scarlet Witch seems to be the least devoted to her fathers plan of human extinction, but her place among the Brotherhood is a valued one.

After the death of their father, the Scarlet Witch and her brother Quicksilver took on the U.S. Government, who were puportedly transporting the body of their dead father to a research center for examination. Iceman, Colossus and Cyclops intervened, hoping to offer the twins a home with Xavier. The twins refused, and broke into the armed vehicle carrying their father -- only to be disappointed. The only item in the transport was Magneto's telepathy-blocking helmet.

Wanda showed up along with her fellow Brotherhood members to aid in the rescue of the X-Men from the Weapon X project. Wanda, who appeared to be in command of the now leaderless team, has kept in touch with Professor Xavier ever since. She led the Brotherhood along side her brother, and together they strove for a more peaceful resolution to the mutant-human dilemma.
