Powers: Can ‘power up’ which generates vast amounts of electricity, which can be projected from his body. Can also travel along the air using electrical currents.
History: Max Dillon had gone through experiments in Hammer Industries, which gave him his electricity powers. Codenamed: Electro, Max was sold to the Kingpin in exchange for investment to Hammer’s dome project. Max picked up the name Electro and decided to go by it. Electro proved to be the Kingpin’s strongest and most useful bodyguard.
When Spider-Man intruded into Fisk Towers, Electro was called upon to take care of him. Electro sent bolts of electricity at Spider-Man finally hitting him and knocking him unconscious. Spider-Man was unmasked and thrown out of a window. When Spider-Man entered the facility once again Electro and the Enforcers (Fancy Dan, Ox and Montana) were sent down to kill him after a blackout was caused. Electro and the enforcers engaged in an extreme battle. Electro unleashed a bolt of electricity, which was dodged by Spider-Man and accidentally hit Ox. After Fancy Dan and Montana were defeated Spider-Man and Electro engaged in rough conflict. Spider-Man asked Electro how he was created which he replied that after he was done with him he would go and fry Spider-Man’s family. Spider-Man retaliated by kicking and bursting open a nearby water pipe, afterwards chucking Electro into it. The water made Electro’s powers backfire and go uncontrollable which put Electro into a coma.
Three weeks later Electro woke up in a F.B.I. hospital only to realise he was being held for questioning about ties to the Kingpin. Electro thought back to the incident where he was put in a coma, suddenly he released a gigantic burst of electricity, which destroyed the room and killed the agents. He escaped the hospital only to be blasted by Iron Man. Captain America, Iron Man and the Black Widow apprehended Electro and took him into S.H.E.I.L.D. custody along with Norman Osborn, Otto Octavius, Sandman and Kraven the Hunter. Electro went through ongoing therapy form Dr. Hank Pym but would not say anything. With the help of Otto the five of them escaped. The all took refuge in one of Wilson Fisk’s summerhouses. Norman offered a proposition to kill Nick Fury and all his teammates. He also stated that he would blackmail the president of the United Sates for 1 billion dollars. Electro decided to help for the money.
Norman Osborn, Electro and Sandman infiltrated the S.H.I.E.L.D. facility and captured Spider-man who was being held there at the time. Norman blackmailed Peter into working for them and they became the Ultimate Six. Nick Fury and his Ultimates tracked down the six and a raging battle endured. Electro fought with Thor in a climatic battle, which lasted for hours. After the rest of the Six were defeated Electro and Thor were left. Finally Thor smashed Electro down into the ground. Electro was taken back into S.H.E.I.L.D.’s custody. Electro then tried to convince the authorities that he was going to betray Norman and the rest and that he was really on their side.
