Powers: Gains reptilian like scales, a tail, and a reptilian face due to a serum he injects

History: Curt Conners was a genetic scientist and a professor at the local university. Well, he was until his funding was cut. Before his funding was cut, Curt was working very very hard on using Reptilian DNA to regrow lost limbs. Curt felt that he had almost finished his research when his funding was cut. The night of him losing his funding, Curt was in his office, doing some research, and drinking heavily, when he took a dosage of the serum that was supposed to regrow a lost limb [he lost his right arm earlier in life]. However, after taking the serum results wern't quite as planned, yes, he did regrow his lost limb, however, he also acquired many other reptilian traits. Curt gained a tail, scales on his skin, and other reptilian attributes.

After haunting the sewers for a few days Curt Conners was approached by Spider-Man, who tried to calm him down. However, Curt just attacked him. Minutes into the battle another participant joined. The Man-Thing. Man-Thing walked up to Curt, touched him on the forehead, and Curt changed back to his normal self.

Despite leaving his wife, Curt returned to work at the University, possibly to search for a different serum that does not turn him into The Lizard.

He met Peter once again when Peter went back to the University to find any traces of his childhood friend, Eddie Brock, who had just turned into the creature "Venom". He saw Peter out of his costume since it had just been destroyed, but promised not to tell anyone about his secret, since Peter had did the same for him. He told Peter he knew of his father, Richard "Ray" Parker, and told him that he was the architect of this horrible decade of genetic nightmares. Enraged Peter told him that he was trying to cure cancer. Conners retorted that Einstein wasn't trying to invent the atom bomb, it just worked out that way.
