Powers: Nick Fury is a normal human being
History: Colonel Nick Fury is one of the most celebrated men in the world, being one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s top secret agents for a number of years. Fury has a history with the X-Man known as Wolverine, having fought in the Gulf War together. Fury was also the man who secretly freed Wolverine from his original stay with Weapon X.
During Return To Weapon X, Fury was sent to infiltrate an Indian genetics laboratory in which the Superhuman Test-Ban treaty was being violated. Fury was over-powered, and captured by the Indian government, who planned to extract every United States government secret that Col. Fury possessed. The Colonel was being transported by train to the Indian base, where his torture would begin. Luckily, Beast, Colossus and Iceman were dispatched by Weapon X to rescue him. Iceman froze the security helicopters that were accompanying the train, while Colossus stopped the train in it's tracks. Beast yanked Fury out of the train, and returned him safely home.
After returning home, Fury recieved a message from his old friend Wolverine, explaining that his friends the X-Men were being used by Weapon X. Fury quickly left for Finland, and arrived in time to take out Colonel John Wraith, director of Weapon X, and allow the mutants to escape.
Colonel Nick Fury is now the director of the United States' premier superhero team, The Ultimates!
